Project to provide clean and safe drinking water to rural schools in China

Hi Everyone,

I would like to introduce you the Project to provide clean and safe drinking water to schools in remote areas in western regions of China. This project started in 2013, Phase 1 of this project included the installations of micro membrane water filters to 40 schools situated in schools located in rural area of Xian province in China where contaminated water was major hazards to the health and well being of schools students and teachers there.

This good project subsequently received good supports from many Rotary clubs in D3450 and as of today, a total of 140 schools involving 200,000 students and teachers are still being served by these micro  membrane water filtering units which requires very low maintaince.

I have provided 3 photos regarding the installation of Skyhyrant micro membrane water  filters supplied by (the Skyjiuce foundation) and the smiles of students who are still enjoying  clean and safe drinking water even today. We have good experiences and technical know how to share with any rotarians who are interested to address to water and sanitation issues in other parts of the world.
